The S4 class have their extended essay exam at 9.15 am 20 April. Pupils are advised to focus on preparation for this exam over the april holidays and there are no S4 History revision classes over the Easter break to allow them to do so.This exam is worth 20 out of 70 marks and pupils are advised to also consider limiting their attendance at other revision sessions bearing in mind they have thier exam the first day back.

S4 pupils should now be recording their extended essays onto their MP4's to help them prepare the essay for their exam.

Appeasement NAB dates for Higher
Bigger Class - 21 jan
Smaller Class- 23 jan
Pupils who are on the ski trip will sit their nab the first double period they have in History on returning. Pupils have had revision sheets since December and have had a period of revision in class. They also have a past prelim paper to practice their questions. Any pupil who has problems should see Miss Walker before the NAB.

Coursework- S4/S5
Pupils have now chosen their extended essay questions and are working on them in their own time with progress check dates given. Parents are reminded that this is continous homework in addittion to regular course study and homework given in class.

S4 Int 2 and Higher History pupils have recently been given MP4s to aid their study, revision and extended essay work. The pupils so far have downloaded revision podcasts and are using the notepad to highlight key events in the past. Pupils are sure to make the best use of these as they can and to think of as many ways the MP4s can be used - and be sure to tell Miss Walker!
